The Copperbelt University has received 350 brand new library chairs worth K486,000 from the Copperbelt Development Foundation Limited (CDFL) to enhance the study environment and improve learning conditions for students.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, CBU Vice Chancellor Prof. Imasiku Nyambe thanked CDFL for the generous gesture, describing it as a timely contribution that will make a real difference in students’ learning experience.
CDFL Board Member Mr. Kennedy Musonda said the donation reaffirms CDFL’s commitment to supporting education and empowering local industries, with all chairs produced by local suppliers.
The Kitwe District Commissioner, Mr. Oncemore Ngonomo, officiated at the event and commended CDFL for complementing government’s efforts in improving education infrastructure.
