Mr Tom Kamwendo

The former Chairman is Mr. Thomas Kamwendo. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has more than 20 years experience in the Zambian mining industry having started his professional career as an engineer in what is today KCM Nchanga Division. He has been CEO of three engineering companies and is currently Managing Partner of his own multidisciplinary consulting firm. He has served on the boards of directors of several companies and development financing institutions, and is chairman of the Copperbelt Development Foundation Limited. He served on a Presidential Commission of Enquiry into university education in Zambia. He has previously chaired the Environmental Council of Zambia and was President of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
