Mr Edward Zulu

Eng. Edward Zulu has a Bachelor of Mineral Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Zambia in 1985 and Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from the Royal Institute of Technology KTH) in Stockholm Sweden in 1995. Eng. Zulu worked for the Ministry of Mines as an Inspector of Mines and later Programme Manager for the SADC Mining Sector Environmental Unit. He later joined the Environmental Council were he served as Chief Inspector and from 2003 to 2008 as Director and CEO. Eng. Zulu then served as CEO of the Engineering Institution of Zambia prior to joining Konkola Copper Mines as Group Manager Safety, Health and Environmental. He later joined Chibuluma mines Plc and Head of Safety, Health, Environment, Community and Security. He has served on several Boards such Zambia Development Agency, National Water Supply and Sanitation Council, Small Industry Development Organisation,  Water Development Board, Engineering Institution of Zambia, Zambia Investment Centre and the Engineering Registration Board. He is currently working as an Independent Consultant as an Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist.
